Picked up the actuator gear which they had in stock too there is a separate plastic gear that slides onto the actuator motor which meshes with the blend door gear to move the blend door. Installation is the reverse of removal and then run the actuator calibration. Before installing the new actuator it s a good idea to manually turn the blend door in both directions to ensure it is not stuck which will cause the new actuator to fail. Remove the screws that secure the blend door actuator to the left side of the hvac air distribution housing.

Remove the blend door actuator from the air distribution housing and disconnect the hvac wire harness connector and remove the actuator from the vehicle.
